We are creating a state-of-the-art LifeCare campus that will bring healthcare, wellness, research, and education and training together under one roof. Through partnerships with hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers, physician groups, education and research institutions, March Healthcare Development is ushering in a whole new era of performance for our community, our veterans and their families.
The Campus will feature Centers of Excellence for the most pressing medical needs of our time, including cancer, heart disease, and stroke. This Medical Campus will provide care for all members of the community, through all stages of life, providing a total health care experience—from the mind/body connection through to skilled nursing facilities and hospice.
Major regional freeways provide convenient access to the Project area. Cactus Avenue provides direct access to the Interstate 215 Freeway which is located approximately 1.7 miles west of the Project site. State Route 60 (SR-60) is located approximately 2.2 miles north of the Project site, directly accessed from Heacock Avenue.
The LifeCare Campus is at the southwest corner of Cactus Avenue and Heacock Avenue on approximately 200 acres of the former March Air Reserve Base in Riverside County. The Project area is bounded on the north by Cactus Avenue, on the east by Heacock Avenue, on the west by Riverside Drive (with the exception of an approximately 8.5 acre parcel on the west frontage of Riverside Drive at the southwest corner of Riverside and Cactus), and on the south by W Street.
