The March LifeCare project will provide for the development of a state-of-the art, integrated healthcare campus. The campus provides for a wide range of general and military medical-related services, including hospitals, general and specialty medical offices, medical retail, research and education, a wellness center, senior center, independent/assisted living facilities, skilled nursing facilities, and related support facilities. Currently, approximately ½ of the residents of Southwest Riverside County leave the area to obtain necessary and elective healthcare services. The project will facilitate the development of an integrated master-planned campus to address the entire healthcare continuum.
Major regional freeways provide convenient access to the Project area. Cactus Avenue provides direct access to the Interstate 215 Freeway which is located approximately 1.7 miles west of the Project site. State Route 60 (SR-60) is located approximately 2.2 miles north of the Project site, directly accessed from Heacock Avenue.
The LifeCare Campus is at the southwest corner of Cactus Avenue and Heacock Avenue on approximately 200 acres of the former March Air Reserve Base in Riverside County. The Project area is bounded on the north by Cactus Avenue, on the east by Heacock Avenue, on the west by Riverside Drive (with the exception of an approximately 8.5 acre parcel on the west frontage of Riverside Drive at the southwest corner of Riverside and Cactus), and on the south by W Street.
